This series comprises microfiche copies of agenda and minutes for Board of Foreign Mission meetings of the Norwegian Lutheran Church in America/Evangelical Lutheran Church (NLCA/ELC) from 1917-1960. These minutes are the official records of business conducted by the board that administered all overseas missions for the NLCA/ELC. Early minutes are printed in Norwegian, but later years are printed in English. In addition to the agenda and minutes themselves, this series also contains an index to minutes from 1917-1923 on fiche 1-3, 1925-1930 on fiche 19, 1931-1937 on fiche 28, 1938-1945 on fiche 34, and 1946-1950 on fiche 44. There do not appear to be any indexes for meetings occurring from 1951-1960. Starting with minutes from 1918, some meetings, but not all, also include their agenda. There are also minutes from Executive Committee meetings, as well as special meetings called and any addenda included with the minutes. The archives do not have the paper copies of these records. Records are arranged chronologically.
